Online Initial Consultation - Child

Service Description

The Initial consultation -child (under 18yrs) will run for 40mins and are to accompanied by an Adult or a waiver can be completed to allow your child to attend the consultation on their own. During the consultation, your child (with support of attending parent/guardian) will be given the opportunity to discuss his/her presenting health complaint in detail followed by a number of questions regarding their health complaint, any symptoms experienced, and the timeline of progress. The consultation will be adjusted to suit the appropriate age of your child. We will then cover off a number of body systems - digestive health, immune, nervous system, reproductive, endocrine (hormones) etc. as this will assist us to understand your child's overall health and also determine the underlying factors to your child's presenting health complaint. Medical history and family medical history will also be reviewed in addition to lifestyle and dietary factors so we can individualise your child's treatment plan. If relevant to your chid's presenting health complaint, some physical examinations may be completed including: tongue analysis, nail analysis, and/or digestive examination. All examinations will be discussed in full detail before undertaking. At the end of the consultation, you and your child will be provided with dietary/lifestyle recommendations and if required nutritional supplementation or herbal medicine. A comprehensive outline of your child's treatment plan will be presented at the follow up consultation including but not limited to subsequent handouts, recipes, weekly dietary plans, individualised health coaching programs etc. Please not: Additional appointment times may be available upon request.
